osCommerce SL
This project started because no new features are being added to the 2.2MS stream. The original 2.2 version of osCommerce is very stable, however some basic features are not included. This branch of the project adds important contributions and features that are needed so an on-line store can operate safely and minimize the installer's time and testing.
The main feature added to osCommerce SL is administer login and authentication, without this feature the original osCommerce
is open to everyone to configure
and is a security risk.
Current Release of osCommerce SL is 2.2.2.0 and can be
downloaded from here.

What is the version number scheme? (2.2.x.y)
2.2 is from the original osCommerce 2.2 source stream. Currently this includes the 051112 security patch.
The x.y are version numbers added by SandorLABS to difference between different releases.
The "x" indicates added features or contribution releases and the "y" indicates bug fix releases.
